Luis, his wife, 14 year old daughter and 12 year old son all live in Colorado Springs.

 

Luis is 100% disabled from the war in Iraq and was in Iraq on the third day of our invasion in 2003.

He was with the 4th ID from Ft. Carson.  He was injured by an IED which took the life of a fellow soldier who was riding in his Humvee and other bomb concussions.

 

Because of his bravery and dedication to our country, Luis now has PTSD, a Traumatic Brain Injury and is mostly blind in his left eye.
